The WILD Foundation and collaborating partners are planning unique and life-changing opportunities for teens and young professionals at WILD9. That means YOU can be a part of this globally important gathering. This is a once in a life-time opportunity to mingle with the world’s leading wilderness advocates, gather knowledge on wilderness issues, participate in specialized sessions to build your skills as a leader and enjoy local cultural, natural and historical experiences.
Teens from schools in Mexico, the US and Canada will join in Merida to learn about wilderness, interact with conservation leaders, and participate in service learning activities. Young Professionals, ages 18-29, from around the world will be offered many challenging, inspiring and interactive opportunities at WILD9 including: a wilderness experience in Mexico’s Yucatan; media training sessions; presentations at the Congress, service-learning projects with local communities and organizations, creative expression of your visions for wilderness & interaction with some of the top-experts working for wilderness world-wide.
All Young Professionals interested in attending WILD9 are encouraged to complete the online application . This application will help us get to know you and form the most engaging program. We want you at the table of decision - telling us what skills, resources and support you need in your work for wild-nature!
