Emerald Planet was founded in 1995 on the principal of using tourism as a conservation tool in order generate measurable benefits to the protected areas visited and conservation organizations we work with in Latin America. By designing, planning and carrying out conservation-based tours, we can help generate revenue for protected areas and conservation organizations, we can help ensure positive economic benefits for local communities, and we can help teach about the on-the-ground realty of biodiversity conservation. |
