Welcome to WILD9’s delegate registry system.

INSTRUCTIONS:
The following steps will guide you through the registration process once you have accessed our system.

STEP 1:
CHOOSE YOUR REGISTRATION TYPE
There are several delegate registration alternatives (students, early bird, partial attendance, etc). Please make sure you read all the information carefully, to select the option that best suits your needs.

FULL REGISTRATION

General Registration                                         595 USD
Participation by delegates of developed countries (see list), Government agencies and Corporate delegates in all Plenary Sessions, Scientific Symposia, Technical Meetings, Public Workshops; full Cultural Program, WILD9 Expo, selected day tours, refreshments, receptions and more!
*Food, accommodations, additional tours, some training courses and other pre-congress activities are extra costs.

Mexico and Developing Countries                 450 USD
Delegates from developing countries (not mentioned in this list) get a 25% discount. All benefits from the Full Registration Package included.

Student Registration                                        400 USD
Students receive a 33% off in the General Registration Package with a valid student ID and e-mail from his/her professor or tutor. It includes all benefits from the Full Registration Package.


PARTIAL ATTENDANCE REGISTRATION

Global Wilderness Forum Only                         300 USD
The Global Wilderness Forum consists on 3 days of plenary sessions featuring reports of global scope and its importance, including announcements on WWC objectives and protected area outcomes from all around the world, evening world-class contemporary shows and traditional dance and music. Forum dates include November 6 - 8, 2009. Details will be posted as soon as they are available.

Wilderness Working Sessions Only                400 USD
Will only attend the World Wilderness Working Sessions November 9-13 2009. All delegates meet in plenary each morning in order to discuss and debate case studies, models and best practice presentations in all major topic areas. Each afternoon, each major topic area will host concurrent sessions, including technical panels and papers, training programs, workshops, and poster sessions.
There will be cultural activities from Yucatan, Mexico and from other countries, including contemporary and traditional dances, music, art exhibits, stories, and more. Details will be posted as soon as they are available.

Special Registration     
This type of registration will only work with a pre-assigned code that must have been given to you by the WILD9 team. Accredited media representatives, exhibitors, scholarships recipients, confirmed speakers, or other program related delegates are welcome to sign in, once they have contacted WILD9 team to obtain the code.

Spouse Registration                                           200 USD
It includes access to all evening functions accompanied with a registered delegate.
It does not cover any day sessions at WILD9.

Day registration, including all activities, functions, plenary and working sessions, is available as follows:

PRE-CONGRESS FORUM FOR GOVERNMENT AGENCIES REGISTRATION                                             90 USD
To build on relationships from the past Congress, government agencies will have this unique opportunity to network with
protected area managers from around the world. The goal for the 2009 government forum is to consider implications and
strategies during a time of climate change. The two-day forum will include a Celestun Biosphere Reserve field trip on
Wednesday November 4 and a workshop at the El Castellano hotel on Thursday November 5. Enrollment is limited to 200 people.

VERIFY INFORMATION AND REGISTER
Check if your information (registration type, invoice information, personal details) is correct. You can return one step back to correct any mistakes. Click on the REGISTER button. You will see a confirmation screen and will receive an e-mail with additional information, including your user name and password to access our system later. You can either proceed to payment or logout. Please, keep in mind that you will need to pay within the next 30 days to validate your registration.

STEP 4:
PAYMENT
You can either pay online with a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or choose one of our alternative methods of payment

D- Postal order

Please note that we will only accept payments in USD.

STEP 5:
CONFIRMATION
You will receive an e-mail with your access information (username and password). With them, you can access WILD9’s registry system to check your information, and book your hotel and tours. This e-mail is not a reservation for WILD9. You must complete your payment to secure it.

IMPORTANT:
Please print your confirmation e-mail and bring it with you. We will need the bar code in order to receive your accrediation at registration in Merida.
