Dr. Mario Molina’s ground-breaking studies on how humans affect the chemistry of the earth’s atmosphere established his reputation as international authority on ozone depletion. In 1995, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work.

Renowned economist Pavan Sukhdev is a Deutsche Bank senior banker and founder-Director of the green accounting project “GIST” (Green Indian States Trust) and Chairman of the Conservation Action Trust, both based in India. Mr Sukhdev is currently on secondment with UNEP as Project Leader for UNEP’s “Green Economy” initiative, which includes the G8+5-commissioned The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB) Report, The Green Economy Report and The Green Jobs Report.
